Interested in joining the McMaster Humanities Society Executive Team? Submit your nomination forms to mhs.president@machumsociety.com on March 27 by 5pm. Once submitted, the President will contact you regarding the format of this meeting which will be held on March 28 at 3pm. All nomination forms can be found under the ‘Elections’ tab.

Through out Welcome Week Humanities will be hosting various events to help first years get settled into their new home here at McMaster University.
Saturday, Sunday and Monday- Swag Pick up (Sat& Sun in MUSC- Student Centre// Mon in the Arts Quad- Between TSH, KTH, and CNH)
Monday- Academic Panel @ BSB 147 11:00- 11:30, 12:00- 12:30, 1:00- 1:30, and 2:00- 2:30
Tuesday- Faculty day starts at 10am in CNH 104
Wednesday- Faculty Night @ Hamilton Museum of steam and technology 7-11pm (transportation provided)
Thursday- Faculty Fest in LRW 1057 and trip to the Hamilton Art Gallery @ 10:30, 12:30, or 2:30 (Transportation Provided)
‼️Join us in LR Wilson 1057 on Thursday, November 29th from 7:30-9:30pm to decorate gingerbread houses, warm up with some hot chocolate, and watch Elf‼️ Don’t let assignments and exams ruin the festive season...celebrate the holidays early this year with the MHS! 🎅🏼 🎁 🎄The group that wins the gingerbread house decorating competition will receive a prize... To celebrate the fall season, the MHS is holding a paint night. Come out and paint some pumpkins and canvases with your friends!!!

First-year Humanities students!! If you haven’t heard, our faculty has a mentorship initiative filled with passionate upper year mentors available to answer questions, give advice, and chat with! NEXT WEEK we have an event where you’ll get the chance to meet and hang out with our mentors and other first year Humanities students! The night will be filled with board games, snacks, and friendship! If this sounds interesting to you, come out to our mentor/mentee meet and greet on Thursday, September 20th at 6:00 PM in the LRW lounge (in the basement of the building) :
